He is co-founder of The Red Badge Project, an organization that teaches vets how to write their stories and help them heal.

Welcome to the place where I write to understand the many faceted faces of loss. My love of words and story have sustained me through many days that I felt unable to move forward in grief. This writing place is where I hope you come to share in all that is both lost and found, all that is overflowing with both joy and sorrow.

In these difficult times, we are living with loss all around us. Perhaps by sharing our grief, we can support each other in ways we never knew before. This is my hope with this blog, as well as holding space for the intimacies of my own journey.
